 As a child I doodled on anything made of paper that took the lead of a pencil or crayon. That stuck with me through adulthood like paying taxes. With passing time and extensive study I was able to turn drawing into occupations as a fine artist, illustrator, muralist, sign painter, forensic art consultant, and a children’s book illustrator.  Coloring book illustrations, MAD magazine art, and the surreal, mesmerizing art of Salvidor Dali inspired me to pursue art. His style is prevalent in some of my art and in “Triumphant Spirit”, a canvas commissioned by Coca-Cola. Dali’s art is a true motion picture, which intrigues me as a short-story, fiction writer – some of my stories and writing projects will be showcased here. Further inspiration is derived from in depth study of Michaelangelo, Leonardo Davinci, Raphael, Rubens, Rembrandt, and others. Special thanks to professor Zimou Tan, a certified living master artist whose teaching was invaluable. After a long hiatus, I am reemerging in belief that it is never too late to fulfill a dream.
